Affiliate Marketing Diary - Tracking Your Journey Making Money Online

A diary is generally the day to day account of events in someone's life. Well, when it comes to learning about the brave new world of Internet marketing, an affiliate marketing diary is a terrific learning tool.
I suggest that you start by doing an in depth search (online, of course!) of the world of affiliate marketing. Take every opportunity to learn that you can. Search for marketing courses and workshops – there are many available, believe me. Read everything you can find on affiliate marketing. Find someone from whom you think you can learn, a mentor, if you will, and ask that person to take you on as a student. Observe their business model, learn from their successes and failures, and take note of everything.
Don't be afraid to make mistakes as you travel this road. Many Internet merchants have tried and failed. And failure, as we all well know, is something from which we all can learn vitally important lessons. What did I do wrong? How can I do it better? How can I work smarter, not harder? These are all questions that should be included in your affiliate marketing diary.
Remember, too, that many eager to succeed have made one
major blunder: the something for nothing mistake. This is when you think that you can make easy money on the Internet by simply creating a website and hey presto the money will just roll in all by itself. As many an affiliate marketing diary will attest, this is never going to happen.
You will need to know, at minimum, how to create a website. It also helps to know how to attract those with whom you wish to make an affiliation - businesses such as Amazon, for example. Develop a business plan and stick to it, but make sure that plan is geared toward Internet commerce, rather than the traditional model.
You will do well, but I guarantee that you will have to work hard - although you may not have to work full time, and perhaps that is your goal! Who wants to work twenty four hours a day, seven days a week? Like any endeavor, however, Internet marketing does require some effort on your part. Keep track of your successes and failures in your diary.
An affiliate marketing diary is really nothing more than a blog – but even in this case, you can earn money by marketing your blog and the lessons that you have learned along the path toward knowledge.
